Bio: Haaland spent much of the last decade or so traveling to some
350 cities in 20 countries.  She prides herself for being able to live
out of a suitcase but is happy to share a studio apartment in Los
Angeles with her books, musical instruments and her common-law
husband, Nicholas Dewart.  She continues to satisfy her addiction to
travel out of LAXand the addiction has been her muse.

Notes: most of the work is postcard size or smaller.

Haaland and I work closely together in a musical collaboration we call Dizzy, along with her husband and two young men that go by the names of Devin and Sister Christian. 
She is a multi-talented woman and I look up to her very much. Her miniature paintings are awesome to see scanned and up close like this because usually in person they are so little a lot of the detail is over seen.
