Bio: Mike graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Theatre. Since moving to LA in 2005, he has studied at the Groundlings, with Karen Maruyama, and the Beverly Hills Playhouse/Renegade Theater, with Chick Vennera. He has also worked with Doris Diehl extensively for animation voice-over. As a writer, “My Friend Peter” is Mike’s first short film.

I met Mike a couple of weeks ago at my very first Picasso Club meeting. Picasso Club is a once a month gathering at the Kopera residence in the Eagle Rock hills. The night includes food, drink, games, and a whole lot of sharing. It's a very very good group of people getting together to inspire each other. I feel really lucky to have been invited by Haaland and plan to go back next month to share some videos. 

Anyway Mike showed us his DVD artwork for the upcoming release of his short film. We even had Peter there with us! Now, if you know me you know that I don't really hold back on my opinions and my opinion (after watched My Friend Peter) is that this being Mike's very first short film is quite impressive. The cinematography, music, and acting is absolutely perfect. I am really really really impressed. So please, check it out. Love,
