NOTES: Very far from mastering renaissance woman, but I believe i am walking in the right direction.
Oh, and I want to go back to oils and mixed media. on my to do list.
I also believe that my teaching gives me energy to create more. the problem is time.
ALSO I FEEL AN URGENCY TO DO!
My first impression of Rachel is that she is a great leader. Her experience as a teacher has given her a confidence that I really don't see in many adults. She keeps Picasso Club in order and leads the discussion. She is not overbearing, she is not mean, she is just right in her ways.
Her paintings are fun abstract pieces and I can't wait to see where she goes from here (I remember she mentioned she wants to move away from abstraction). Most artists move INTO abstraction as their careers go on, but Rachel is doing the opposite...
Love,
Valeria
