BIO: My name is Chris Mumford, my photography is chriswayne photography because wayne is my middle name. I packed my car and drove out from San Antonio Texas in August of '08. I lived in my car until I could find a place to live, which was exciting and scary all at the same time. When I arrived in LA I took a tour of FIDM with a friend and got talked into seeing the Digital Media major part of the tour and pretty much fell in love. It was everything I wanted for post production to push me into my dream of directing in the end. While I was at the school I started loving photography and I think this is because I have a love for being behind the camera and creating art and letting people see what i see everyday as I walk around and analyze everything into something interesting for the eye. I have now graduated from FIDM and work in the production company at the school full time. While in school though, I started assisting a great friend of mine Adam Hendershott and started seeing how much fun it was to do shoots, and just decided to buy my own camera (Canon 5D Mark II) and started going to town. Since September of '09 I have been shooting all the time, non stop, any time I can. I love taking pictures of anything. If I can find a way to make it interesting, i'll shoot it. So until that happens i'll be right here creating greatness everyday for people to enjoy.

Create things true to yourself, and you will never be let down.
I met Chris at school about a year ago in a film history class. He was a quarter ahead of me and I had seen some of his videos used as examples of what to do in class. First and foremost, Chris is a talented animator. His video for Public Citizen, "Become A Public Citizen" was what I personally used as
inspiration for my own video for Public Citizen. When I saw that he was turning on to photography I was actually pretty impressed because of how quickly he managed to book shoots. Also, at how original his ideas were. My favorite of his work that I have seen is definitely the photo shoot he did with his mom. I have never seen someone photograph their mom in such a classy and beautiful way (it really did blow my mind, I even told him). This guy is going to be fucking huge pretty soon and I can't wait.
